If this sounds like you, we would really like to hear more about you to see if you would you like to join Play Torbay as a Junior Placement.

What is a Junior Placement

Our Junior Placement programme offers a unique opportunity for young people aged 13 and over to support the work we are doing on our playgrounds.  Whether its supporting children at our play sessions or helping to maintain our playgrounds and build better spaces for play or even supporting the horticulture at our Ecology and Play Centre we look forward to you joining our team.

We have been offering Junior Placements since 2021 and have found that young people not only really enjoy being on the placements but also get lots from doing them.  Some of the benefits of being on Junior Placement include:

  • £5 an hour for all your hard work!

  • Free training and AQA certificates to enhance your CV.

  • Building confidence and improving wellbeing.

  • Opportunities to learn new skills.

  • Getting valuable work experiences for future employment

  • Making new friends!
