Deputy Alternative Provision Lead with DSL and Senior Playworker
This is a 1 year fixed term rewarding role supporting children and young people who are not in mainstream education. During term time, you'll manage and oversee bespoke EOTIS & EOTAS learning placements in a play-based scheme, coordinating personalised 1:1 support programmes to help children overcome educational barriers. The working week for this role will consist of both administrative and nine hours of direct delivery, 1:1 working, with service users.
In combination with this the post holder will also be responsible to act as a senior playworker during school holidays leading, managing and supporting the play staff team including Junior Placements to ensure quality provision delivery.
SALARY: £17 per hour
HOURS OF WORK: 15 hours a week - Flexible - 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
RESPONSIBLE TO: Alternative Provision Manager
LOCATION: Home working and based at various locations within Torbay

Enabler - Zero Hours Contract
This post requires an experienced and highly motivated individual with enthusiasm and empathy to support young people with Autism Spectrum Conditions or social, emotional and mental health issues. They provide support and outreach learning for children (usually primary school age) on an individual basis.
Enablers will typically collect their young person from their education setting or home during school hours, transporting them to one of Play Torbay’s playgrounds or, if appropriate, a location within the local community (e.g., the zoo, beach, soft play areas etc.) to support and enable personal growth and development through play and exploration of the world around them.
Our outdoor learning approach and play nurture work provides vulnerable children with the time and space to take part in child-led outdoor play and benefit from its restorative and healing qualities.
SALARY: £17 per hour
HOURS OF WORK: variable
