Summertime Play Packs
As part of our pledge to SummerOfPlay# which enables all children, in Torbay, to have space and time for play this summer by supporting fun, friends, and freedom we are thrilled to launch our new Summertime Play Pack.
The Summertime Play Packs are full to brim activity boxes filled with bundles of scrap, craft, art growing and cooking materials alongside an activity booklet which guides you through them. The packs are completely free and delivered directly to families’ doorsteps. There are ten weeks’ worth of activities with instructions for lots of amazing stuff to make and do.
In this Play Pack we have taken the best ideas from the previous Play Packs as well as incorporating new ideas from the children and young people and their families. Activities include windowsill gardening, Harry Potter Owls, making kites, ambitious cane dens as well as lots of cooking activities too including Devon scones, rainbow fruit kebabs and strawberry filo nests.
