Summer of Fun - HAF 2022

This summer we were delighted to be to be part of the government’s Holiday Activities and Food programme this summer to offer lots of outdoor fun and adventurous play sessions at our three playground sites in Torbay this summer. We had four fun filled themed weeks of activities including:

Recycling, Re-using, Re-Making
Nature
Friendship
Playground Challenges

Every day the playgrounds offered a mixture of:

Physical activities including: water slides and wild slings, golden pebble hunts and walking a Slack line

Enrichment activities including: newspaper fashion shows , making and cooking damper bread and jam over a fire, friendship bracelets and jewellery making

And a healthy lunch and snacks to keep everyone fuelled up!

Over 3000 children and young people came along during the summer schemes and had an amazing time. Here are a few comments from the summer:
