Wintertime Play Packs
Just in time for Christmas we are thrilled to announce the arrival of ‘The Wintertime Play Pack’.
As part the Government’s response to supporting families in receipt of free school meals in the holiday’s colleagues from Torbay and North Somerset have joined forces to produce a book full of ideas and information about activities on offer during the school holidays.
It means that every primary school child who is in receipt of benefits-related free school meals in Torbay will receive a hard copy of Wintertime booklet and will be eligible to receive a free Wintertime Play Pack and an accompanying food hamper.
The activities in the book offer something for everyone from creative arts, cooking and growing projects, to outdoor fun. The activities include growing Paperwhites and making wonderful tree decorations through to making and breaking snowman Piñatas and baking delicious Christmas food like melting snowman biscuits and Festive Cookies.
