Eco Play Packs Have Arrived

Now at the start of 2021 we are super excited about the launch of the Eco Play Pack; it is inspired by young people who are interested in knowing about ways that we might individually and collectively help to protect our planet. Putting this pack of activities together we have been helped by partners in Imagine this…

In the Eco Play Pack there are separate bags for 10 planned sessions which includes window-sill foraging, growing beansprouts and cooking a delicious beansprout pasty! Designing and creating a papier-mâché pinata using recycled newspaper and homemade glue. Making ‘beebombs’ - native wildflower seedballs - to help to bring the bees back, learning about zero carbon and making eco bricks to raise awareness of how much single use plastic we use.

We hope that it will provide children and young people with imaginative and exciting opportunities over the next few weeks at the same time as helping to protect the world we live in!
